What data we collect

• Email address and hashed password (account registration)
• CV/profile text you upload or type (stored to your account)
• Credit transaction log (action type, delta, timestamp)
• Referral code (if used during registration)
• Browser fingerprint (used solely for fraud prevention)

Legal basis (GDPR Article 6)

• Contract performance — to provide the CV generation service you signed up for
• Legitimate interest — fraud prevention and abuse detection
• Consent — optional profile saving and referral tracking

Third-party processors

• Groq Inc. — AI inference (your profile and job description are sent as prompts)
• Supabase / PostgreSQL — database hosting (EU region)
• Stripe Inc. — payment processing (credit purchases)
• Vercel Inc. — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email (password reset)

Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Credit logs are retained for 12 months for financial record-keeping purposes.

AI Act compliance (EU 2024/1689)

GetHiredNow uses a general-purpose AI model for CV generation. This is classified as a minimal risk AI system under the EU AI Act. We do not use AI for automated decision-making that produces legal effects on users. All generated output is presented to the user for review and editing before any use.

By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

GetHiredNow provides AI-assisted CV and cover letter generation. Output is generated by a large language model and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all output before submitting it to any employer.

Acceptable use

• You must not submit false, misleading, or defamatory content as your profile
• You must not attempt to circumvent credit limits, abuse referral codes, or exploit the system
• You must not use the service to generate content on behalf of other people without their consent
• You must not reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-request the API

Credits and payments

Credits are consumed upon successful generation. Failed generations due to server error are not charged. Credits are non-refundable except where required by EU consumer law. Stripe processes all payments; we do not store card data.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that AI-generated CVs will result in job interviews or offers. ATS compatibility depends on factors outside our control including employer-specific systems.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetHiredNow's liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona.

What we store for your account

• Your email address
• Your hashed password (bcrypt — we cannot read it)
• Your saved profile text
• Credit balance and transaction history
• Referral code and referrer (if applicable)

What we do NOT store

• The job descriptions you paste (processed in memory, not saved)
• Generated CVs or cover letters (returned to your browser only)
• Payment card details (handled entirely by Stripe)

Delete your profile data

Your saved profile can be cleared at any time by erasing the text box on Step 1 — it auto-saves (or not) based on what you type. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email va.junizamagana@gmail.com with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will action it within 72 hours.

Data portability

To receive a copy of all data we hold about you, email us at va.junizamagana@gmail.com. We will provide it in JSON format within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 20.

Cookie and tracking policy

We use a single session token (JWT) stored in localStorage to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.
